Description

This adaptive reuse project was completed in 2010. The project involved renovating an existing 1,850 square feet garage while building a 5,350 square feet addition to create the Town of Evansville Community Center. The facility has a Community Hall which can be used for large meetings, wedding receptions or other gatherings. There is a medium-sized meeting room which can be divided in half to make two smaller rooms. The center piece of the facility is a 1 ½ story reading room and historical center which provides a space to display historical artifacts. A computer room was included in the facility to provide space for teaching computer skills and tutoring. The facility also has a full commercial kitchen and houses the Evansville Senior Center.
