Southridge Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school designed to replace the former K-6 elementary school. The new facility is a 3-2 configuration housing three sections of kindergarten through third grade and two sections of fourth and fifth grades.

The small site required the students to relocate to a temporary school, so the existing facility could be demolished prior to the start of construction. The building is designed around a central common space with two wings housing the different grade levels. The facility includes classrooms, art room, science room, music room/stage, gymnasium, commons/cafeteria and administration. Outdoor amenities include a terraced seating area built into the landscape, playground, playfield, hard play area, picnic shelter and an amphitheater. The building takes advantage of daylighting, as well as the great Casper Mountain views.
